Here it is! See yesterday's post for the before pictures. I think this shows that you can take any little corner of your world and make some space to create.
Before I did this I worked at the dining room table.
Before I did this I worked at the dining room table.
Not only are there drawers that hold all of my "stuff" I am surrounded by
all of my favorite things that inspire and delight me.
The wonderful new piece above the buffet is by my talented sister Kerri Judd.
I am so fortunate to be surrounded by her talent
each and every day!
This divided drawer in the buffet is perfect for all my molded blanks before
they are made into real flowers.
I love the large trug that I keep my velvet in, it used to hold wine until
Karen spurred me on to do this challenge! Thanks Karen!
I love old houses but right now we live in a newer space. These recessed shelves are wonderful
but we don't like the window. I gives off so much light that it gets in our eyes in the morning.
We taped up dictionary paper and problem is solved!

When I sit at my table this is what I get to look at.
Georgie is my beloved Malti-poo.
He likes to lounge right near me.
All of the black drawers hold velvet molded flowers.
All of the boxes hold supplies and goodies
with which to create.
I found this basket at a tag sale in Cambria and thought it would be
great for all of my supplies. I like the old vintage flowers around me while I
create.
This is an old plateau that I also got at the tag sale. The gal said the mirror was
broken so she added the linen. What a great way to display my
Fleurs!

A birthday present from my friend Karen! Suzie Scott Design.
I love it!

I love little dogs. The silver one is a cookie cutter.
I also love letters and numbers.
I needed to spell out GEORGIE.

I love it, I will try it too :) I hope to meet up with you one day :) I was just out in your neck of the woods yesterday at the HomeGoods with my mom at Roosemore? I think that is what it's called, mom was sweet and got me some special things for my bebe studio, now I just need to make the time and get in there :) Take care and have a wonderful time creating beauty in your studio :) Rose

Thank you for the tour of your space! It is nice to meet you! You did a wonderful job setting up this area (I checked out the before pics), and I am sure it inspires wonderful works. Have a great day!
Wow. You've collected some really beautiful pieces and have really made a wonderful place for yourself. What a creative person you are! I also love the design of your blog. You've done a very nice job. May I ask what program you use to create your amazing graphics?
I like your advice about surrounding myself with things that inspire me. I think my space is really utilitarian right now, and after seeing so many studios that are also beautiful places, I feel I need to make some changes over time to make my space more of a place that is both useful and inspires.
This post was SO FUN to read and look at!! You've worked wonders here. I'm so glad you took a bunch of close-ups of all your charming things. And what a great idea with the pages on the window!!!

Hello Kim~ I forgot to mention I grew up in So.Cal (where my family still resides). I'm a OC gal at heart. After I married...we moved to the PNW that was 27 years ago. Seeing the sunshine streaming into your living room makes me crave CA.
There are sooo many flea markets and antique shops there to explore. Not to mention the treasures to be bought!
Open (antique) markets aren't conducive with our inclement weather.
The broken mirror that was repurposed into the framed with linen was a wonderfully creative way to display your pretty collection. I'll have to keep that in mind.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
