Saltwater Shellabration

Last Saturday was a wonderful home tour and
shell class with Judy Mackey.
We were treated to
a home tour, lunch, and a class on making
a shell pin.

Judy is very talented and so gracious to open her home and share
her artistry with us. I took many pictures to share with you
so enjoy!

Judy made this book cover that holds pictures of her art.

My favorite vignette, these vintage lamps were decorated with shells
and then topped off with darling shades!

Can you even imagine? The time and creativity!

Lovely!

Her home is full yet calm and relaxing. Her placement of her artwork is stunning!

Hello! Perfect!

This piece was created using a little tykes toy! We were all shocked that she
was able to make this out of that.

Thanks to Georgia at Saltwater
for hosting this wonderful
event.

I can not wait for the next
one!

How pretty! I was going to put shells on a frame one time and got frustrated - did not look right. I can't imagine doing one of her creations.

GASP!

i am shell-shocked by this, my jaw literally dropped. amazing! beautiful! i love the shell roses.

i love things made from seashells. i wish i still had the seashell ladies and turtles i used to collect as a child. i still have 1 turtle. he sits beneath a broken shell palm tree and i call him shelldon.

just lovely!

Hello my bloggy friend! WooHoo!!! Party day is just a week away! I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone's creative spaces. I have a request... I thought it would be easier for everyone to leave comments if we all turned off comment moderation and word verification during the day (or maybe week) of the party. To do that, go to customize, settings, comments...then scroll down to turn off comment moderation and word verification.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and a fabulous week. See you next Friday!!
BTW.. All I can say about this post is...WOW!!!!

I love your new blog! Are you going to post pictures of the attendees to the Shell party and some of the shell designs that were made? Would love to see that.

Amazing shell creations... I adore the seaside look! I've collected several shell covered boxes and have found a nice variety, but nothing compares to the shell decor featured here!

Hugs,
Christina :)
